Abstract

Since 1996, the Departament of Indigenous Education of the Ministry of Public Education has been implementing the New Educational Plan in Talamanca. The objective is to contextualize the curriculum in the indigenous schools in the seventh district of Talamanca. This article presents a summary of the experience.

Ramiro Herrera Sánchez, Ministerio de Educación Pública

Tiene título de Aptitudes Superiores con énfasis en Indigenismo por la Universidad de Costa Rica. Ha sido maestro unidocente, director de escuela primaria y asesor regional de las escuelas de Talamanca en Costa Rica.
