Abstract

Muchos son los factores predisponentes al desarrollo de infecciones purulentas en las llamadas estructuras profundas del pie en vacunas. Se ha hecho un intento en este artículo por relacionar la incidencia de estas enfermedades con la conformación del pie, particularmente con la conformación de las pezuñas y otras áreas anatómicas que están predispuestas a ser invadidas por bacterias provenientes de enfermedades ahí localizadas.
Es importante el poder comprender cómo los patógenos alcanzan la articulación interfalangeana distal, el hueso sesamoideo distal, la bolsa podotroclear y el tendón flexor digital profundo y su vaina sinovial para no diagnosticar ni descuidar o instituir una terapéutica errónea a estas enfermedades.
