The article addresses the issue of the relationship between job profiles
and the functions performed and how this influences job performance. Its
general objective is to analyze the relationship between the job profiles
of the CIDE secretarial team and the duties and functions performed
by these collaborators and their impact on job performance in the year
2022. The research was carried out under the vision of the naturalistic
paradigm, as it is intended to know the interactions of a group of people
and their context starting from a given reality. A qualitative and descriptive
research approach was used. The findings revealed significant benefits for
the CIDE in terms of the relationship between the functions performed by
the secretarial team and those stated in the job profiles of administrative
positions. Among the conclusions, it was found that some of the tasks of
these collaborators do not fall within the aforementioned profiles.
