Cultivo del pargo de la mancha Lutjanus guttatus (pisces: Lutjanidae) en jaulas flotantes (ING)
Abstract
Fingerlings of Lutjanus guttatus were cultured in sea cages to market size using discarded bycatch of shrimp fishery as feed. The growth curve, mortality and farming costs involved were estimated. Growth performance of 1,87 and 1,7 g per day and food conversion rates of 7,88:1 (wet feed) and 1,77:1 (dry feed basis) were attained. Natural mortality was estimated at 6% during the experiment.Downloads
